restarting a vmnet interface

If, for some reason, a VLAN becomes unavailable to guests you can try to restart the vmnet-bridge process that bridges the VLAN to the guests. Just look for a process like :-

/usr/sbin/vmnet-bridge -d /var/run/vmnet-bridge-2.pid -n 2 -i vlan24

kill the relevant process and restart with exactly the same parameters.
