The interface between Theon and Prometheus has never been formally defined. This is important to
ensure that everyone knows and agrees on what to expect. The result of this project was principally
a document defining the API, which in this case was: the structure and content of the specific views
that Prometheus uses; the feeds, processes, rules and times of changes that underlies the definition
of the views in Theon. The approved document is here:
PrometheusTheon.
In addition during the discussion of the API some minor view amendments were suggested and
implemented.
Effort
Effort given to this project by both the Research and Teaching and Infrastructure Units was 23.5 hours. There
would have also been a small amount of additional User Support Unit effort not included in this figure.
Conclusion
While only taking negligible actual effort this project still took over 250 working days to actually get done.
This is a theme common to many of our projects.
