Force a reboot from the serial console

Sometimes it is not possible to login to a machine and you need to force a reboot from the serial console. This can be done with the following sequence of commands:

^]^]l0s
^]^]l0u
^]^]l0b

They all begin with "ell zero", the sequence is "sync", "unmount", "boot"

Rebooting a VM on a KVM server

A VM (called, say, "banana") on one of the KVM servers can be rebooted with
kvmtool --name banana restart
If that fails you can immediately stop the VM altogether with
kvmtool --name banana destroy
then start it with
kvmtool --name banana start
