MPU Data Backups

The MPU has six servers containing master data. All are backed up off-site using rsync+rmirror.

pinemarten

pinemarten is the pkgforge master server and has 1 rmirror entry - pkgforgedb. It is a virtual machine hosted on jubilee which is in the Forum server room.

budapest

budapest is the lcfg.org web server. It has 2 rmirror entries - lcfgdatadisk and lcfgwiki - each coming from the relevant host name. It is a real machine which is in the Forum server room.

heda

heda is the bugs.lcfg.org server. It has one rmirror entry bugdata which is sourced on host bugs.lcfg.org. It is a VM on jubilee in the Forum.

sernabatim

sernabatim is the diydice LCFG server and has 1 rmirror entry - diydice - coming from the relevant hostname. It is a virtual machine hosted on northern which is in the KB server room.

schiff

schiff is the LCFG master and has 2 rmirror entries - lcfgrfedata and lcfgsvn - coming from the relevant hostnames. It is a real machine which is in the Forum server room. Note that for this machine we also have backups on the LCFG disaster recovery machine (lcfg-dr) which are likely to be much more up-to-date.

KVM hosts

Each KVM host has an rmirror entry called kvmconf to mirror its KVM guests' configuration files.
