Dell PowerEdge R720

You can identify which RAID controller your machine has by running /sbin/lspci | grep LSI

  • H710 (above command identifies as SAS 2208) - use #include <dice/options/raid_megaraid_sas.h>
  • H310 - not tried yet

Known Issues

PXE booting
PXE booting works, but for some unknown reason the PXE menu won't accept input. The solution is to set the pxeclient.default_label resource to the PXE menu option you require. Eg. pxeclient.default_label  mSET(sl664serial)
