Kenway Review Phase II

Kenway Review Website

"The purpose of this phase of the review is to continue the evaluation of the service and support structure in the University, with the emphasis now on IT within the Schools and Colleges, particularly: the governance and decision making processes, fitness for purpose, effectiveness and quality. This review will also examine the emerging structures across the University to ensure effective articulation between Schools and Colleges and IS."

The College has formulated a list of Key Questions for consideration by the college review group, CCPAG and schools. The aim of this "is to question current practices and contemplate alternatives which may or may not appear in the ultimate College Report (to the Main Review Panel)". Other notes from college:

  • there are 22 questions, including some difficult ones
  • six of the questions are flagged as particularly for CCPAG
  • we may wish to be selective in what we choose to answer
  • no need to repeat material already submitted (unless we wish to do so)
  • giving explicit references to material already submitted is recommended to emphasise particular points already made
  • feedback on these questions is requested by Friday 1 June, with a college meeting sometime later to formulate the college submission to the main review panel
